I grew up in the 80s and like most people of my generation the first Dobermans that we ever saw were Apollo and Zeus from the TV show Magnum PI. I saw my first Doberman in the flesh in the mid 80s and I was mesmerized! I had never seen a dog before that was so demanding of respect. I knew that Dobermans would be part of my future.

I purchased my first Doberman in 1991 and their presence in my life has been growing ever since. I had no idea what a show quality or pet quality dog was. I just loved Dobermans! I purchased my first show quality Doberman in 2002. I helped show her to her Canadian Championship and I was hooked on showing dogs.

I attended my first US National in 2007 and I was truly amazed at the quality of Dobermans there. I also met Sharon Pflueger there. The founder of Goldgrove Dobermans. Sharon agreed to sell me a show bitch and mentor me. Dani, AmGch/CanCh Goldgrove Quest For A Second Win came home with us from the National the following year. Dani would become our foundation bitch and our Queen. We were fortunate to have her until she was 13.

In 2008, I met my husband Greg and everything changed! I finally had a partner who wanted to do what I wanted to do! That was breed and show Dobermans! The following year in 2009 we purchased Gage, AmGch/MBIS MBISS CanGch Goldgrove High Intensity. Gage took us on a wonderful ride! He started with Best Puppy in Shows here in Canada, Best Puppy at the US National 2010. He finished both his American and Canadian Championships before he was 1 year old. In 2013 we campaigned him in Canada and he finished the year as #1 Doberman, #1 Working Dog and #11 All Breeds! He finished his show career at the US National in 2014 awarded Select Dog. But most of he was a wonderful dog! We lost him when he was 10.

We met our wonderful mentor and friend in 2010, Colleen Nicholson of Kelview Dobermans. Colleen and her sister Cindy and Greg and I have grown to be true friends. We have shared many tears and laughs over the years and we hope to share many more. Also in 2010, ConnQuest Dobermans bred our first litter which produced, Audi, AmGch/CanCh Audacious. Audi is our reigning queen and has just become a Great Grand Dam!

We are moving our breeding program forward and continue to produce quality show dogs as well as wonderful, well bred pets with excellent temperaments! Our most notable breeding is Penny, MBIS/MBISS AmGChB/ CanGCh ConnQuest Best Of Both Worlds. Penny is out of our Chad and our Simi. We are very proud of what Penny has accomplished so far and look forward to what is yet to come!!

**We do not condone or support the breeding of the “white”/albino Doberman as it is a genetic mutation**
